Young’s Foodservice has launched Popcorn Scampi Bites, mouth-watering scampi and whitefish bites wrapped in Young’s signature crispy golden breadcrumbs. Each moreish piece is made from sustainable wild caught, hand-peeled scampi (sourced from the coastal waters of Great Britain and Ireland), and delicious Wild Alaska Pollock.

The new Popcorn Scampi Bites tap into snacking and sharing trends that are ideal for restaurant, pub and university menus. With no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and taking just minutes to oven bake or deep fry from frozen, the bites are a convenient option for any sector and usage occasion.

A versatile addition to menus, the scampi bites can also be served with a variety of accompaniments, such as a zesty lemon and herb aioli, classic homemade tartare sauce, or simply with a fresh wedge of lemon or lime.

Adrian Greaves, Foodservice Director at Young’s Foodservice is delighted to expand the company’s scampi offering:

“We’ve been proudly serving Britain’s favourite Scampi since Young’s created it in 1946. This new format is perfect for any occasion, either as a delicious main meal or as the perfect sharing platter. Quick and convenient for both the operator and consumer, they deliver a contemporary and moreish take on a classic.”

Young’s Popcorn Scampi Bites is available in cases of 8 x 300g bags.
