The Young’s Foodservice team returned to Farmwise Devon for the third year to support inspiring 1,600 primary school children on where their food comes.

Young’s were on hand for everything seafood, highlighting its versatility, great taste and the importance of sustainability.

Adrian Greaves, Foodservice Director at Young’s Foodservice said:

“Events like Farmwise really make an impact and encourage learning beyond the classroom.

It’s an honour to get involved with an event that shares our passion for inspiring future generations to love fish.”

The children took part in a range of activities, games and made their own fishcakes. Inspired by Young’s popular ‘Spicy Salmon & Black Bean Fishcakes’, the pupils enjoyed the taste testing after working up an appetite.

The session ended by highlighting the benefits of omega-3 in salmon and how it often comes sustainably sourced underwater farms.
