Young’s Foodservice launches its first wholemeal based breadcrumb product into foodservice. The new Wholemeal Cod Portions are coated in a light, wholemeal breadcrumb for added fibre which makes them an excellent source of nutrition for children of all ages.
Containing no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and taking just 10 minutes to oven bake straight from frozen, the Wholemeal Cod Portions are quick and easy to prepare. Developed to meet school food standard guidelines, the product is sustainably sourced and is MSC certified, making it the perfect option for schools. Made from tender cod fillet and coated in an irresistibly crunchy wholemeal coating, the chunky cod portions are a versatile addition to menus. Why not spice up children’s lunch time by making simple alterations to traditional favourites? Serving homemade vegetable chips and mushy peas with the wholemeal cod portions adds extra variety and flavour, whilst upping the vegetable intake!

Young’s Wholemeal Cod Portions are available in 85g portions, can be cooked straight from frozen and come in case sizes of 50 × 85g.
